30 minute quick and easy pasta dinner

Fresh pasta is the ish! Do you like dried spaghetti, macaroni and other kinds of pasta? The fresh ones taste even better! As the kitchen over-achiever that I am, I’ve been dreaming of making my own pasta for a while now. Because homemade pasta is terrific. But with the fresh pasta from Buitoni, I don’t have to go through the trouble of making mine. All I need to do is pop the pasta into some nice boiling water to cook then make the quickest and easiest dinner on earth. This 30-minute pasta dinner is life-changing.

One of my goals this year is eating only foods that are responsibly produced. My friends at Buitoni do a fine job at producing vegetable-infused pasta that are fresh, no GMO and authentically Italian. You should definitely check out their products.

marinara sauce

I love Italian food! No wonder, one of my favorite restaurants is an Italian one. Each time I go there, I order a lasagna. That gooey dish of pasta, sauce and cheese has a special place in my heart. You can’t beat that combination of pasta, tomato sauce and cheese. So I decided to enjoy that combination once again but this time around, not with lasagna but with tortellini. This is a ring-shaped pasta that is filled with cheese. Absolutely delicious.

To make this ridiculously easy dinner, you need five easy ingredients. Pasta, marinara sauce, eggs, vegetable oil and an onion. And no, you need no extra seasoning. The marinara sauce and cheesy pasta lend enough taste to the meal.

If you are a meat lover, sub eggs for some ground meat. Delicioso!

All you need to do is boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package. These take about 7 minutes to cook after plunging it into water. Then you drain… Feel free to totally grab some of these babies and fit into your mouth.

Then you saute some onion, scramble the eggs, add in marinara sauce then you put in the pasta and mix. The result is this simple luscious dinner. A testament to the fact that simple things are indeed beautiful. Some nights, this is all you need. A quick and easy one-pot pasta dinner. Yum!
