I made these popsicles “for the kids” but oh man they were so delicious, I became a kid. They are perfectly healthy too.

So healthy that you could even have them for breakfast.

You only need four ingredients to achieve this. Don’t fret if you can’t find strawberries. You could use another kind of fruit for this. Mango will be great. Freshly squeezed orange juice will be divine. Watermelon will be uh ah-mazingggg.

 Yogurt and Fruit Popsicles

Ingredients

Prep: 5 mins
Freezing time: 3-5 hours

6 large strawberries (or 1 cup fruit of choice)
2 small cups of yogurt
1 cup of skim milk
2 tablespoons honey

Directions

Place all your ingredients in a blender. I used a small blender so I had to blend in two batches.

Blend the hell out of them until smooth.
Place into ice cube trays. I filled two ice cube trays with the mixture.
Let that freeze for about an hour then when it is slightly hard, place Popsicle sticks in each. Brethren, I didn’t have Popsicle sticks so I used plastic spoons. Survival tactics.
Let that freeze to perfection. It takes about 3 hours. You could also leave that overnight. Before serving, remove from freezer and let it rest for about 2 to 5 minutes.
Enjoy and be the kid that you really are!

  1. Perfect for the summer. Necessity is the mother of inventions they say. Who would have thought that you can use plastic spoon in the absence of popsicle sticks. U make my day with little hacks that every body especially parents should know. U are awesome. Thank you so much. U are my tutor.

Very explicit procedure. I'll definitely try it out this summer. Thanks for sharing
