HERE’S WHAT’S UP: SONGS YOU MUST LISTEN TO

I woke up yesterday morning and got into the music. When I am in the music, I get lost in it. I can wash a single plate 74 times while singing and shaking my head and doing all sorts of things with my body. They call it dancing.

When I am in that mood, I don’t want to hear anyone talk to me. My kids will call me over and over as though they were “sent”. I quickly dismiss them so I can keep nodding, screaming and moving my body. When I am in that mood, I might not even answer my phone when it rings. Sometimes, I don’t even know the complete lyrics but my mouth keeps uttering gibberish along.
When the right music hits you at the right time, you get into pure bliss. Listen to these, my friends:

1. This is the promise

I never said that fear wouldn’t find you in the night
Or that loneliness was something you’d never have to fight
But I did say I’d be right there by your side
And I did say I’ll always help you fight

Such profound lyrics delivered in the most beautiful way:

I’ve played this song, umpteen times. Such a beautiful reminder that God didn’t say you won’t go through storms. He says His grace will be sufficient in your time of need. So no matter you are are going through my friend, remember His promise. He has promised to be there right there with you.

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.

The words of Isaiah 43:2 explain this. He did not say you will have a problem-free life. He says he will be right there with you. So cast ALL your cares upon Him. May this song bless your heart as it blesses mine.

2. One Thing

All I know is everything I have means nothing
Jesus if You’re not my one thing
Everything I need right now
All I need is You right now

Everything I have means nothing if Jesus is not my one thing! How profound! I want Jesus plus nothing. In Him is everything I need.

3. Where Feet May Fail

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me

Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Saviour

That’s where I want to be. In a place where my trust in God is without borders. I want to dwell constantly in the sweetest place ever: His presence.
