Homemade Waffles
The one and only homemade waffles recipe you will ever need. The waffles are slightly crispy around the edges, fluffy in the middle, perfectly spiced and great for soaking up your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon powder.
In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture then whisk together until all ingredients are incorporated. Do not overmix.
Cook the mixture in a waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions. It takes about a quarter cup of batter to make one waffle.
Serve warm with your favorite toppings and enjoy.
Notes
Place leftover waffles in a ziploc bag and close then store in the fridge or freezer. They reheat well in the microwave or taster.
