This Mango Juice is made with no added sugar yet it is sufficiently sweet, fruity and so refreshing. It comes together in only a few minutes. Perfect for beating the heat during hot summer days!
Have you ever heard someone describe food so much that you feel like you can actually taste it just from the description? That's the case with mango juice. A family friend once described some homemade Mango Juice he had many years ago. He was so fond of the juice that he happily said it was "veryyyy nice!" This greatly kindled my appetite.
And I have been craving the Mango Juice Mr. Family Friend described for years. The way he described it made me imagine it as a deliciously fresh sweet creamy and mango-ey drink.
So when Mr. N brought home a bunch of mangoes yesterday, I kept thinking of making mango juice.
And I did. And I tell you: this one is "veryyyyy nice". Ah! I just finished gulping down a glass and my whole body feels happy!
Just like my Pineapple Ginger Juice this Mango Juice with no added sugar yet you don't even miss the sugar because the mangoes are sufficiently sweet. It is fruity - with that unbeatable mango taste, creamy and just so good!

How to Make Mango Juice
First, peel and chop some mangoes.
Then you place the mangoes in a blender with ice and some water.
Blend until smooth.
If the mango has a lot of fiber, pass through a fine sieve to remove the fiber. If not, serve and enjoy!
My blended mangoes turned out quite smooth so I didn't have to sieve.

1. I got 4 cups of mangoes out of 3 large mangoes. It might be different for you depending on the kind of mango you use.
2. This recipe calls for no added sugar. I find that the juice is sufficiently sweet without the added sugar. However, if you want it sweeter, feel free to add in some sugar or some honey right before blending.
3. You could add some freshly squeezed orange juice to your mango juice. This will help boost the taste of the mangoes.

Rise up - in spite of whatever tries to put you down. Always find strength within you to rise up stronger and better because you are stronger than you think.
This is also really tasty if you use coconut water.
That's a great idea, Tricia! Mango and coconut go really well together. Thanks for sharing!
